As of early January the GiddyUP! Film Tour is in new hands. The founder, Dan Farrell, handed over the keys to the tour to new owner Rick Tillery. Rick is a former TV news journalist and also has a lot of experience in the event world. Tillery is also a filmmaker who recently completed a documentary short on the life of Amy Dombroski and the Amy D Foundation.
It was a crazy weekend but a whole lot of fun too. Friday night we started with our final showing of the 2018 Giddy! UP Film Tour at Akasha Brewing and then a whole lot of muddy racing followed.
We were very glad to be there to support the organization we support, The Amy D Foundation Team. Great job out there!

We kicked off 2016 in January with a packed house at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC!
We were the first of many killer nightly events coinciding with the 2016 USA Cyclocross National Championships at the historic Biltmore Estate.
Oskar Blues was on hand with ice-cold cans of Pinner and Dale’s Pale ale. Cliff Bar, SRAM Road, Kappius Components, Feedback Sports, Training Peaks, Handlebar Mustache Apparel, Red Fox Outdoor Gear and Panache Cyclewear all provided gear for our raffle.
At the end of the night we made some great new friends and raised more than $1,500 for the Amy D Foundation.
We loved Asheville and can’t wait to get back there again!
Our 2015 debut was an absolute blast!
We hosted eight shows across Colorado, and we made a trip up to Wyoming for a show at The Gryphon Theatre in Laramie.
We did something different… instead of focusing on films with tail whips and back flips, we featured films with an engaging storyline. Comedy. Adventure. Drama. A good variety. We got consistently fantastic audience feedback.
We gave away a ton of great schwag from our friends at Feedback Sports, Rocky Mounts, Handlebar Mustache, Skratch Labs, Pearl Izumi, Spirit Hounds Distillers, Mountain Magazine and Amy D Foundation.
The Nederland, CO High School MTB team and local trail organization hosted a fundraiser with GiddyUP! Film Tour, and they raised $2,000 in a couple hours!
At the end of the tour, we donated $2,000 to the Amy D Foundation and awarded a beautiful Kappius Components wheel set to our grand prize winner, Terry from Longmont, CO.
Guess what…? We can’t wait to do it again in 2016.
See you soon!
